Below you&#8217;ll find a high level guide but please refer to your charter officials for additional support<\/p>\n\t<h2>Standard Tournament Format<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>NHPA tournaments primarily use <strong>round-robin play.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Pitchers are <strong>seeded into classes<\/strong> using their current ringer percentage from eShoe.<\/li>\n<li>Each pitcher plays <strong>every opponent in their class.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Court assignments and game schedules are provided at check-in.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Determining Winners &amp; Breaking Ties<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Class winners are decided by <strong>win\/loss record, ringer percentage<\/strong>, or <strong>total points<\/strong> (count-all scoring).<\/li>\n<li>Ties may be broken by:\n<ul>\n<li>Playoff games<\/li>\n<li>Overall ringer percentage<\/li>\n<li>Head-to-head results<\/li>\n<li>Comparison to entering average<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Major events<\/strong> (State, Regional, National, World): <strong>All ties for first place must be broken by a playoff game.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Ringer Percentages<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Ringer % = <strong>Total Ringers \u00f7 Total Shoes Pitched.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Includes playoff shoes and extra innings.<\/li>\n<li>All shoes pitched under a sanction number count toward event totals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Seeding Pitchers<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Seeding is based on <strong>current eShoe averages<\/strong> at the entry deadline.<\/li>\n<li>No current average?
